You may think you know where this is going, I mean we had multiple books building up to this. I assure you, you are not prepared. I wasn’t as excited for Logan as the hero as compared to the other brothers. The funny crazy guy is not always my type. Let me tell you, Logan Bailey may be the most mature of all of the Bailey Brothers. Sure, he loves to have fun, but he also loves big, and that dude will step up the moment he needs to. I loved him!For being the goofy guy in the other books, Logan had so much more heart and depth than you would imagine. Cara too. It was so fantastic to “hear” her inner monologue. It’s hard to think of someone so outwardly confident to have any internal struggles and insecurities. It sure made her a lot more relatable than you would expect.After all the fighting, it was hard to see how Logan and Cara would come together. They don’t seem to fit, but when you get to know them, it is perfection. They were made for each other. Logan and Cara are everything! For everything that is sweet and swoony in this book, there is just as much heat and combustion. This book is HOT! A couple that have been at each other’s throats for three other books is sure to have some fire and passion! Phew, does this deliver!!Claire Kingsley always does such a great job keeping you “in touch” with the storylines from previous books in the series. The characters from the other stories are woven in, as part of the story, not a quick blurb just so you know. You get to experience the others’ HEAs, and it was extra special in this book.Chasing Her Fire revealed some information, but left me with more questions and more curiosity. I can’t wait for the final book in the series, Levi’s story. The mystery of Tilikum, the fued, possibly the squirels, and the treasure are all only one book away! It will be sad to see it end, but nobody wraps a series like Claire! Continue your journey with The Bailey Brothers here with Chasing Her Fire. This book is so completely fantastic!
