This was an amazingly well-told story with insightful details that constantly had me impressed by the amount of research the author must have done to come up with such a concise retelling.I knew of the close relationship between Clift and Taylor, but I had no idea about the demons that drove them both, especially him. I cannot give this book enough praise. I was enthralled from the beginning and was disappointed when it came to an end. It was so well told I felt I had been watching a movie instead of reading a book. Even if you're too young to remember them in their heyday, this story is well worth reading.
